Our indoor meetings usually take place on the first Tuesday of the month (January, June to August and Bank Holidays being the exceptions).

Everybody is welcome - you don't have to be a member of Birdwatch.
Admission to the indoor meetings is free though we ask for a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the room. All indoor meetings are held at The Kingston Hotel, 9-12 Haddington Terrace, Dun Laoghaire beginning at 8pm.

Outdoor events are free and once again open to all.
Coach trips are a very reasonable €25.00 per person, and €20.00 for children, students & pensioners.

Belfast Lough RSPB Reserve

The reserve is situated within the Belfast Harbour Estate on the shores of Belfast Lough. The RSPB manages some mudflats in Belfast Lough, together with an area of grassland with a pool and ditch complex near Belfast City Airport, and a lagoon with a hide and viewpoints. The mudflats are important feeding areas for a variety of waders and wildfowl. At high tide large flocks of waders and gulls can be seen from the hide and viewing points. Dundalk Harbour and Oxford Island Reserve will also be visited.

The coach will leave the SeaLink Terminal at Dun Laoghaire at 8.30 am sharp
and proceed via Blackrock (bus stop at Frascati Centre), the Tara Towers Hotel, the RDS Ballsbridge, Merrion Square, Liberty Hall to the Airport road, picking up passengers on route.
